illusions has existed for a long time, in several kinds of encarnations.

	Many years ago, it's first encarnation was a hidden location under 
	a BBS.  It resided there quite happily for quite a few years.  The
	BBS moved on, and the illusion faded.

	It was later spotted as a web site...  This was a short appearance,
	with no real home of its own...  It once again faded...

	Reports have been made of it showing up at different locations around
	the world.  Most of the reports cannot be confirmed...

	Now illusions has come about twice...  If you are reading this, you 
	have found one of the illusions...  The second is a free floating
	presence on the Internet.  If you go through the portal, you can 
	find the illusion...

	In the first time of illusions, there were few visitors...  It was a 
	well hidden location with only few with the knowledge of it's location,
	and fewer with the skills to reach it.

	In the second time of illusions, there were many visitors...  All 
	were welcome, and many did partake of the wealths to be had.  
	Communications were abundant.  Not only did people use the ancient
	tool of electronic mail, but they took of newsgroups, and echos.  Some
	guests simply visited for availables wares and entertainment...

	The second time of illusions was great.  Many were sorrowful to see
	it's passing.  Once again it's time had come to fade...

	There then was the  third time of illusions...  This time has been slow
	in coming.  Many were aware of it's presence, but there was not much
	visable.  This time of illusions was then maturing...  As it matured,
	much to be desired.  

	The third time of illusions was not long lived.  During the times of 
	change between the third and fourth times of illusions, there was much 
	chaos.  It appeared to exist as a foreign land, as some thought it was 
	conquered..  This was not so.

	The fourth time of illusions came with great change.  Illusions came
	to it's strongest residence yet, with a floating presence of 
	unpresidenced speed.  We hope this time of illusions will last for
	a long time to come...
